Information

Join us on a full-day journey from Split to the world-renowned city of Dubrovnik, often called the “Pearl of the Adriatic”. This 12-hour excursion offers a deep dive into one of Croatia’s most treasured coastal cities, blending rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture.

Your adventure begins with a comfortable drive along the scenic Dalmatian coast, accompanied by our friendly English-speaking guide. As we make our way toward Dubrovnik—roughly a 3-hour drive—you’ll enjoy panoramic views and engaging commentary on the region’s heritage.

Once we arrive in Dubrovnik, you’ll be greeted by a local licensed guide who will lead a one-hour walking tour through the city’s remarkable old town. You’ll explore Stradun, the city’s lively main street, see Orlando’s Column, and admire architectural gems like the Sponza Palace and Rector’s Palace. Discover centuries of history woven into every stone of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, including its 1,940-meter-long medieval walls, still preserved in their original form.

After the guided portion, you’ll have 3 hours of free time to explore the city at your own pace. Walk the ancient city walls for panoramic views, wander the quiet side streets that transport you to another era, or simply soak in the Mediterranean atmosphere.

Food lovers will find plenty to enjoy—whether you opt for fresh Ston oysters and mussels, traditional lamb and veal under peka, or regional delicacies like eel and frog stew from the Neretva Valley. Don’t forget to try the area’s famous sweets like Rožata, Kotonjata, or Arancina, all best enjoyed with a glass of Dingač, Pošip, or Dubrovnik Malvasia wine.

We reconvene with your guide at 4:00 PM for a comfortable return to Split, enriched by the memories of a day spent in one of Europe’s most enchanting cities.

This tour is also available as a private excursion to Dubrovnik, tailored completely to your preferences and pace.
