Krka National Park

Krka is the only national park in Croatia where swimming is permitted during the summer months, and you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear waters of the lower lake.

Among Krka’s waterfalls, Skradinski Buk stands out as the most impressive, resembling something out of a fantasy landscape. It features a vast, pristine natural pool with towering waterfalls on one side and cascading falls on the other. Skradinski Buk is recognized as one of the most beautiful limestone waterfalls in Europe. The park is also home to several archaeological sites, including remnants of fortresses from Roman times, which you can explore. Afterward, we’ll visit the Roški Waterfall, where swimming is allowed, and you can enjoy tasting delicious local food and wine.

Best of all waterfalls in Krka is Skradinski buk and reminds us of some fantasy scenery. It’s a massive, clear, natural pool with high waterfalls at one end and cascades at the other. Skradinski buk is considered to be one of the most beautiful calcium carbonate waterfalls in Europe. There are also several archeological remains of unpreserved fortresses in the park’s vicinity dating back to as far as the Roman times for you to see and visit. After we are going to visit Roški waterfall, where is swimming allowed and where you can taste good local food and wine.
